Born in the United States to parents who migrated from Iran in 1978, Jasmine’s life has been a rich tapestry of cultural experiences. Her childhood was spent in Geneva, Switzerland, and Tehran, Iran, before she settled in the United States, where she has lived for the past 24 years. Jasmine is fluent in Farsi, French, and English, which has allowed her to navigate and connect across diverse cultural landscapes seamlessly.

Jasmine’s entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 14 when an eBay commercial revolutionized her family’s traditional wholesale and brick-and-mortar rug business. Together with her twin brother, she ventured into the online marketplace, selling Persian rugs on eBay. This early endeavor laid the groundwork for what would eventually become the Rugs.com empire. Today, Jasmine serves as the self-taught CFO and owner of Unique USA and Rugs.com, steering the companies toward continued growth and innovation.

Outside of work, Jasmine is passionate about playing tennis and running. She actively supports women in her organization and community through our nonprofit, Maman Inc. Most recently, Jasmine completed an executive education program at Harvard University, further enhancing her leadership and business acumen.

Jasmine is happily married and a proud mother of two boys, aged 6 and 4. Jasmine resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she balances her professional responsibilities with a fulfilling family life. Through dedication and strategic vision, Jasmine has transformed her family business into a leading enterprise while also nurturing the next generation with the same values of hard work and perseverance.
