Jalayna Bolden

AVP Environmental Health & Safety

Jalayna Bolden is AVP of Environment, Health & Safety for AT&T. In this role, she provides global oversight for buildings, customer, and worker safety at more than 50 thousand leased and owned facilities and AT&T’s 247 thousand employees.
She partners with executive leadership, Corporate Compliance and Corporate Legal to set the tone for AT&T’s safety and environmental compliance culture, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local government requirements. Her team oversees the administration and execution of environmental, health and safety compliance programs supporting all AT&T operations (e.g., hazardous materials reporting, petroleum storage tank management, air emissions permitting, hazardous waste removal, injury reporting, fall protection, electric shock hazards, etc.).
In her former role, she led a team of Diversity and Sustainability professionals responsible for developing programs to stimulate diverse business growth through direct and subcontractor opportunities to make measurable contributions to the economic growth of diverse companies and communities and ensuring all suppliers engage in sustainable supply chain management solutions to reduce impact to the environment when providing goods and services.
In her 22-year career with AT&T she has held numerous leadership roles within Supply Chain, Logistics and Global Real Estate with an extensive background in vendor/supplier management and compliance management. Prior to joining AT&T, she worked as a Federal Government Contracting Officer for the Department of Defense.
Jalayna holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of The Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is also a Certified Purchasing Manager.
