An enthusiastic, seasoned leader with a heart for service, Leonard K. Spencer is one of the nation’s premier supplier diversity executives and an advocate for economic inclusion, education and sustainability. In his role as Senior Manager, Supplier Engagement for Amazon, Leonard is known for his strategic skill, partnership building and results-oriented approach to supplier diversity and inclusion. Having played an integral role in the development and launch of the Amazon Global Procurement Organization’s Supplier Diversity & Inclusion team, he is responsible for leading the team that works with the Global Category teams to integrate processes and tools into the sourcing process that increase the utilization of diverse owned and small businesses (DOSBs).

He has led key growth initiatives, vendor sustainability and diversity strategies for Fortune 500 companies such as The Walt Disney Company and GE. Driven to cultivate economic growth for underserved businesses, he has successfully led regional business inclusion campaigns and nonprofit community endeavors and been recognized as a “Social Justice Game Changer,” an effective collaborator and dynamic presenter.
