Misha's Cupcakes

Founder & Owner

Misha Kuryla, born in Miami, Florida, is the daughter of a Mexican born mother and a father from Lima, Peru. Her multicultural heritage has been a driving force in her entrepreneurial journey. Misha pursued higher education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree, followed by a Master’s in International Business from Florida International University.

In 2005, Misha founded Misha’s Cupcakes, a women-owned and managed bakery in South Florida. What began as a humble home business has flourished into a well-known brand with six locations, including a presence at Miami International Airport. The bakery specializes in crafting delicious cupcakes, cakes, and other baked goods.

Misha’s Cupcakes has expanded its reach by wholesaling to major retail grocers such as Whole Foods, Farm Stores, and Milam’s, and recently got a deal with Walmart. The bakery also ships its treats nationwide through Goldbelly and partners with DoorDash, UberEats, and TooGood To Go for local deliveries and store pickups. In addition to these services, Misha’s Cupcakes offers corporate gifting and operates four cupcake vending machines, strategically placed at Miami International Airport, Florida International University, and Merrick Park Mall in Coral Gables.

Misha is committed to growth with plans to expand the vending machine footprint in malls, airports, and universities, as well as to increase sales to large retail outlets. Her business is proudly WBENC &WOSB certified, and she continues to lead with passion and dedication. Beyond her professional achievements, Misha is a devoted mother of three, balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with family life.
