This famous quote by the phenomenal Dr. Maya Angelou propels Tamekia Flowers-Ball to pursue her passions in event planning, personal development, and yoga instruction. With over 30 years of experience in event planning, marketing, and professional development, she has built a career rooted in creating impactful experiences that foster connection and growth.

In 2006, Tamekia founded Epiphany Blue, an award-winning event planning and immersive experiences agency that has served companies including Peloton, American Water, NYC Public Schools, Tide and Citizens Committee of New York. Under her leadership, Epiphany Blue has earned a reputation for excellence and world-class service, crafting events that go beyond experiences—creating opportunities to connect, engage, and leave a lasting impact.

Beyond her work, Tamekia is a dedicated wife, mother, and community leader. She serves on the Advisory Board of Syracuse University’s Office of Multicultural Advancement and the Board of Scholarship Plus. Tamekia is also an active member of the BOW Collective, National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
